Jamie's reading

Jamie and I finished our book of phonics lessons in January. It seemed that within no time at all, he went from reading Hop on Pop and Biscuit to being able to read nearly anything. The first longer book he read all by himself was The Magic Finger by Roald Dahl in mid-February. Since then he has read several other chapter books as well, and of course many, many picture books and beginning-reader books. I love finding him curled up with books all over the apartment, and I extra love when he reads stories to Jacob. There's nothing better than seeing him share my love of reading!!
